What: To attend the Finksburg Planning Area Council, Inc.
general membership meeting
When: Thursday April 28th at 7 p.m.

Sandymount United Methodist Church

Meeting On Library Plan:
County Library Director Lynn Wheeler will
attend our next meeting to update us
on the proposed library plan. The architectural firm hired to come up with
a plan
will have representatives at the meeting to
answer questions. The county library
Department sent out a press release which
can be accessed at the bottom of the
newsletter.
Finksburg
Plan Update:
County planning Director Steve Horn is scheduled to attend
our April meeting to
discuss the Finksburg plan. The Carroll County Planning and Zoning
Commission will meet Tuesday, April 19 from 9 a.m. to 4
p.m. to consider
removing several properties from zoning changes. Staff determined that many of
the properties had exhausted their development
potential.

Yearly Dues:
The Finksburg Planning Area Council, Inc. is a volunteer
organization working to
keep residents informed about issues that concern
Finksburg. That’s why it is so
important for folks like you to come to our meetings, get
involved and pay dues.
Here are some of the major issues we've kept you informed
on:
Please pay
your dues at the next meeting. The dues
are $10 for a family and
$25 for businesses.
If you are unsure about whether you have paid membership
dues, please see one of our board members at the next
meeting or give us a call.
Election
Of Officers:
A nominating committee of the FPAC executive board is now
accepting
nominations for positions on the board Please contact Vice
President Mike Davis
if you would like to be considered for a board seat. We would request a brief
resume or some background information. Mike can be reached
via email at

The next trash pickup is set for Saturday, April 23rd
at 8 a.m. We will meet in the Finksburg
Plaza parking lot at that time. Please
come out and cleanup our neighborhood.
The cleanup will take place along Route 91 between Route 140 and Deer
Park Road.

Your Calendar:
General Council meetings are the 4th Thursday of the month at the
Sandymount United Methodist Church. Meetings begin at 7 PM. Board meetings are
usually held on the 1st Wednesday of each month.
Yearly Membership Fee: $10 per
Household, $25 per business
Dues: You can now pay your 2005 dues. The organization uses
money from dues to pay for the printing and mailing costs of this newsletter
and other mailings.
