Residents of the Finksburg area and interested parties,

The Carroll County Bureau of Comprehensive Planning will hold a community information meeting on the evening of October 12, 2004, starting at 7 PM in the Gymnasium of Sandymount Elementary School, 2222 Old Westminster Pike in Finksburg to review and discuss the preliminary recommendations in the Finksburg Corridor Conservation Plan. Following a presentation, County Planning staff will be available for any questions and feedback that citizens may have in relation to the preliminary draft plan.

Additional opportunity for public comment will be provided during the 60-day review period that follows the completion of the revised draft. A community workshop will be held in your community during that 60-day period as well. The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing after the completion of the 60-day review period, at which additional public comment will be officially accepted. The dates and times of these meetings will be printed in the paper, and posted on the County web page at http://ccgov.carr.org/plan-d/finksburg/index.html.
