In 2000 the Carroll County Department of Planning started the
process of creating a new Finksburg Comprehensive Plan. A comprehensive
plan for Finksburg was last created in 1981. In 2002 the plan
was renamed to The Finksburg Corridor Conservation Plan and
later to the Finksburg Corridor Plan.
The Finksburg Corridor Plan took over 10 years to complete.
With numerous changes, starts and stops along
the way.
The plan was approved on 8/29/2013.
